    Queen introduction?

I have the queen in a nuc on 5 frames, there is a lot of capped brood - 3 frames worth - I also picked up a swarm last night, so wonder if I could unite the swarm with the hive and risk that queen. If she survives swap her for my quality queen

    Queen introduction?

What is the best way to requeen a colony that has been Queenless for a long time? They have rejected my attempt to introduce in a butler cage, so I have warehoused the queen in a small nuc

    Combining swarms

I am running out of kit but not pleas for help! Picked up a swarm yesterday and rehoused it in a broodbox, but there is still a bit of room in there. Have just had a call to pick up a football sized swarm....... So my question is.....could I just dump them in the broodbox with yesterdays...

Feeding super contaminated by wax moth back to the bees

I have a hive that is booming with no stores. I also have a couple of supers full of crystalised honey that have been attacked by wax moth and have lots of silk in them. Was thinking of putting it below the brood box for the bees to salvage. Any harm in this?
