i have come onto this site to gain knowledge from other peoples views and experiences. so far our bee management strategies have worked very well for us and it is something we do from a conservation point of view rather than money making. so please be easy on me!!
we started with one hive 4 yrs ago and built up through retrieving swarms.our hives have been thriving so we created artificial swarms and then re queened some of our hives with Carniolan queens this year to hopefully encourage some good traits into our hives . The rest of them as far as we can tell are British Blacks.
