Hello! I'm shivalyn, an Italian beekeeper. I did my first beekeeping course in 2014 and it was love on first sight! I've been practicing beekeeping since. I've had some ups and downs managing my small apiary in the past ( varroa, European foulbrood, Nosema and absolutely my mistake: malnutrition) but I believe I do manage them much better now, thanks to foreign literature (Seeley, Englert, Som de Serff). I'm very interested in different beekeeping methods, hive types, etc. This year I'm focussing on hygienic behaviour and recapping, I hope to find some discussions here about this topic.
My searching engine brought me to this forum because of a question about the capability of bees to move brood ( larvae) to a more suitable place in the comb, I saw a topic about this subjects but couldn't visualize the picture.
Thanks for letting me join this forum, I'm looking forward to learn from you!
