It seems that the preferred place to start building comb in several of my six-frame poly nucs is in the feeders. I really should have found a way to block that section off before using them, but time wasn't on my side at that point.
So, are there any clever ways of getting them to vacate the feeder area? I can live with waiting if necessary, so I'm wondering if the easy option is just to leave it until they need the room, start building out the frames and have the queen laying in them, then transfer them to a full hive (making sure the queen goes with them).
