Bird table?

WOW , there you go..... Problem solved...

We just need to start thinking out off the box...

Find some old planks , bolt some dodgy looking legs on and stand well back....
I did notice, he doesn't tell us about his Varroa treatment plan..

I guess as soon as the wind blows , there'll all fall out....

P.S.
We're going to go for the deluxe version with the polished wax finish...
As it will look nice at the bottom of our Garden and it's only another £60...

Not well researched.. or attempting to appeal to the would be beekeeper market, I wonder if a Flow's hive adaptation will be added as a must have accessory?

But on the plus side could bring some new beekeepers into the craft!

Web page full of miss information, miss spellings......
* Cymbopogon citratus is the lemongrass oil that attracts bees.

Very entertaining, enjoyed the video!

I want one,

but S.W.M.B.O. says it won't fit through the doors on the wood-burner. :(

Love the legs, did he loose his saw or just go for the rustic look?

Bet they sell well in the towns or down South?:smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5:

Perhaps we were all too quick to take the P!555???

Appears it's not a hive for beekeepers but something of an Urban bee Box or "Bird-Box for Bees".

Townies buy them for the kids (to distract from mobile phones & computer games). Put them in the garden with the hope of attracting their own little swarm in the same way we put up bird-boxes for Blue Tits to nest in?

They nest, Grow-up & move on, Simples! :leaving:

Jeez, you really do have issues with Townies and people from down south dont you!

I dont think I have ever read a post from you that isnt derogatory towards them.

I don't even know how to introduce this 'thing' to the forum, so I'll just post the link:

The Hancock hive. The web site is a bit thin on exact dimensions, but from the videos on his channel I gather the following:

Brood chamber:
Outside dimensions: 263 x 263 x 1000 mm
Inside dimensions: 187 x 187 x 900 mm
Total volume: 29 litres

Honey supers (x3):
Outside dimensions: 220 x 150 x approx 300 mm
Inside dimensions: 144 x 112 x approx 260 mm
Volume per super: 4 litres

The hive walls are 38 mm thick. Hive inspection is done via endoscope. He hasn't harvested any honey yet, and I suspect he'll rethink his supers' design when the time comes.

I speak as I find, (perhaps a little tongue in cheek).
Can't help it, I miss JBM!:biggrinjester:
