Maybe this is the wrong thread but .... There is residual woodworm in my hive; will woodworm treatment affect the bees after the worst of the smell etc has worn off? Also is there a good paint that I can use to paint it where the fumes etc will not affect the bees? Many thanks a newbie :)

Hi, Many thanks for your reply. Yes I had contacted ICI Paints as they used to have a substance but as is said on this page they are no longer able to use the relevant contents and they have not tested the new stuff :( the one idea that I had not picked up on was to dry it out completely and leave it untreated so I think I will go with that and hope that the little black beetles do not return to lay their eggs and there is not too much rain :), Many thanks again, Richard
