wickes Wood Presever that use to besimilar to Clear Cuprinol and Bee safe contains PERMETHRIN which is toxic to bees.

Cuprinol clear does not have any of this but the new Cuprinol blue cans are over twice as concentrated one of the fungicides compared with the old Green cans and are no longer advertised as bee safe

green cans 1.31g/litre Blue can 4.63 g/litre IODOPROPNYL(3-2) BUTYL CARBONATE

Green cans 1.31g/litres Blue cans 0.473 g/litre Propiconazole

Are you sure about this? the can I read the other day showed the new stuff in the blue cans had less of both the listed active products.

cans in front of me now

Green IODOP 0.40% W/W @3.28 that equals 100% 1.312g/100 litres
Blue IODOP 0.75% w/W @6. 17 that equals 100% 4.6275g/100 litres

Green PROP 0.40%w/[email protected] that equals 100% 1.312g/100 litres
Blue PROP 0.24% w/[email protected] that equals 100% 0.4728g/100 litres

if your cans differ it could be my old green can with Bee symbol is really old stock

anybody else got a can nearbye that differs from mine?
