House Bee
Good morning all,
I have a small colony in a hive which was a split from earlier this year.
They are in my out apiary and on inspection yesterday I found laying workers and no queen.
Also up there I have a nuc which has had a large swarm move in during the last week adjacent to the LW hive.
My question is, is it safe to shake out the LWs nearby as I'm worried they'll find their way into the swarm nuc and bugger it up, especially if it's an unmated queen in there.
I'm considering taking them 3+ miles away and doing it in a field .
The population of the LW hive is pretty low as it's mostly drones by the looks.
