I’m pretty certain I lost a swarm during the first week of July.

Never saw it leave but there were about 8 capped queen cells on 9th July inspection. Tore them all down apart from one and have left them to it since.

What’s the best thing to do now…should I leave well alone for a couple more weeks or should I be going in to check that the queen has emerged and looking for signs of brood?

Thanks. I was amazed they swarmed. This colony was a swarm itself that I caught about 6 weeks earlier…
It's happened a lot this year. Don't panic if there is no sign of eggs. An open queen cell is want you are looking for!
