I image some of the nuances has been lost in translation. Worked for a Swedish some years ago and at a meeting with the owners they were told the morale was not good in the UK office. it went quiet and after the call we got a message from one of the other European offices asking what he hell we had said to the owners. They had thought we meant we had no morals and in their heads had manages to come up with all sorts of things going on in the office....

I wonder how it's possible to know the source of the drones which mate with queens

If drones and queens are Italians, it id impossible notice what have happened. One strain of Italian maybe a 100% swarmer and queen are very rare swarmer. And the results are most swarmers.

Different colors reviele, that something unwanted has happened.
