That was my thought, somthing Mr and Mrs Admin use on the weekend:boxing_smiley:
 
The one on the right looks like a home made version of a heather honey loosener,perfextractor,used to agitate ling honey so you can extract in normal way,without destroying combs.I have one but it has small needles.
The other am still working on,someting to retain drones or queen.When you going to give the answer.

I don’t have the answers; they are in one of my boxes of many bits.

I think the second one with the needles is to agitate heather honey.

The first one has a set of one way traps across the centre and a wooden piece that opens at the large end,the whole things about as big as a size 15 shoe.
 
Never seen a size 15 shoe ,plus I hate clowns :hat:.
