Hi,
Got some strange behaviour outside one of my hives. Please see short video: -
http://vimeo.com/101609469
I'm specifically confused by those bees "rocking" backwards and forwards.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

My bees have done it twice this year. On both occasions they were waiting for virgins to emerge. Taking the opportunity to do some extra cleaning as there is no brood to feed?

One of my colonies has started washboarding frantically - since I added ApiG. Is it akin to handwringing? Kind of stress related? I know I'd be completely stressed out with that stink all the time.

Every scientific paper that comes up on bees I check the submission and approval date to make sure it isnt April 1st.

I tend to rock in a corner when I'm bored and have nothing to do too.
