Hi all, I would rather my first post on this very informative forum
had been happier but....................................
Having done the course and read the books got our first bees about
six weeks ago, thought we were doing well, didnt see it coming, didnt
expect it, they swarmed today, I wasnt there, wife said it was very
impressive. I'll put it down to inexperience.
Question is what do I do now?
Do I search and destroy queen cells or leave them alone for a couple of
weeks ( I have been advised both )
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Look for queencells and remove all but two of them. That whats I would do. Others with more experience may tell you diffent shortly.

ps get a mobile phone and get the wife to ring the next time it happens or even better train her up on what to do.
