Really hope we have a decent year, it's been bloomin freezing and dark here today, hard frost first thing and didn't get much over 5-6 degrees, temperature is dropping again now do looks like another cold one on the cards.
Up until now my bees have been busy bringing in pollen and water a plenty but not a sign of them today.

A beautiful and almost warmish morning...I even took off my jacket and hat. The bees are out and some pollen going in. Not hordes of bees but some. This afternoon the breeze got up and it was so cold. We are working outside...fitting out the new American barn stabling...above and beyond the normal animal stuff. I am perished...just getting warm again with fluffy blankets and a heat pad and a dog.
