Hi, just something I've been puzzling over...

When bees tear down cells do they dispose of the wax or reuse it?

If they reuse it then how come if you put old comb in the feeder for them to clean up, they only take the honey and pollen but don't reuse the wax?

interesting, i have noticed on my varrao tray little transparent flakes, fresh wax?
And i don't think they reuse it, all goes on/through the floor.

I opened this thread thinking it was about uses for wax.....

Well we found one, so I'll say it anyway....

My daughter had trouble with her "train track" braces on her teeth. The dentist had given her clear stuff to put over the sharp edges but she had used it all. So we gave her a little wax foundation...... worked a treat!
