As I think most beekeepers like myself are affected by wasps at some point, I just wondered whether varroa affects wasps an even bumble bees the same as honey bees? :confused:

Probably not, the honey bee and varroa issues are closely tied to the bee growth lifecycle, the big win that wasps have is that they all die each year except the queen. Given that she hibernates on her own in isolation its hard to see how wasps can be impacted by these mites past one season. Shame cus I have a nest in my roof at the moment, but not for long!
