New Zealand has a particular set of conditions that require very radical solutions. Tinkering with wasp hive bettles and hoverflies is simply miss guided desparation. What's required is industrial pneumatic excavators and ground radar/thermal imaging. Then it's a question of going out at night and vaccuming up nests by the thousands and doing that continuously but especially before sexually progeny are released.
