Washing hands between queen marking and clipping

Is it possible to get a sting off a Queen if you have been handling other Queens within a couple of minutes?

I was thinking that a queen will only sting in the presence of other Queen pheremone so in theary if you have been handling other queens she could sting you?

I have never been stung by one,and do lots,one after the other,i do however just wipe my fingers with a sticky cloth and wipe off between them,but this is more so the bee's don't attack her when returned a few mins later.
