I'm not talking a pork dinner accompanied by a lonnie donegan tribute band here but my bees behaviour and noise from the hive.
don't know if they're related but just noticed the 2 at same time today.
vid [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Umlu20eUZb0"]here[/ame] although hard to hear, a clearer sound [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-0XTccnr20"]here[/ame] but not my bees.
did a search and found some previous threads, Thead 1 and Thread 2
No definitive answer, some suggestions were
- chewing wood to increase entrance
- uncapping/working wax
- wings on sides in busy hive
Would be interesting to get some more views on the potential cause
