Wakefield Area

Hello all.
I attended a beekeeping course run by the Field Studies Council last month and am a member of the Wakefierld and Pontefract Beekeeping Association - but have only been to a couple of meetings so don't know too many other beekeepers yet.
I am getting my bees next week and at the moment am swinging between excitement and terror! After the course - which was brilliant by the way, I felt full of confidence - now the more I read the more apprehensive I get!
If there is anyone out there in the Wakefield area I would love to make contact.

me and my wife have bees, three hives at present and going to try to expand next year. still learning but its all about learning and been confident with bees.
also going on to breed my own queens, limited success this year with that.
your welcome to try your hand in the spring next year if you want.
