Visit to Thornes at Rand yestersay

Visited Thornes at their Rand production and shop yesterday. The group visit was arranged by my local BBKA Assoc.

It's well worth a local associations arranging a visit, very interesting tour seeing all parts of their manufacturing process. Fascinating seeing the machinery and just how much is done by hand and skillfull eye.

Provided a lunch for us too which was good as the journey was 105 miles.

Their open day in October is well worth a visit, not only for the sale side of things but as a customer I always feel really well looked after - hats off to them
