Ah the IOW.

It's rained here nearly every day since the hosepipe ban and it going to rain all day today. Not expecting much honey this year.

It is always raining in Cumbria. Bees must have a helluva life.I think I am likely to end up with about 150 lbs per hive this year. Ever thought of moving?:seeya::p

Was that from one of my girls ?

Don't answer that Mark! He's after a cut (comb?), next it'll be entered in a show and everyone will be asking how admin gets such great honey.

Wow, that looks amazing, very clean. This is what my honey will look like next year when my girls have finished their work ( in my dreams :) ) That looks perfect.

Nice cleen comb, i see you are using 11 frames in the super, which is why they look so even...30lbs of Honey :nature-smiley-013:

i use wide spaces with 8 frames per super, so more Honey less wax, but i must admit not so cleen even looking comb

Man, this site is so frustrating when you haven't got bees

Dont worry, the day will come

On the comb, noticed very little brace comb, i assume that could be becuase the castles allow less vibration than spacers, mine are braced between the frames about every 2"

Has anyone elso noticed less brace comb with castles? or is it his clean living bees

and tasted nice as well:) although one frame was not right as for some reason they decided to fill a large area with pollen

i also use castles in my bb brace is a problem there but not in the supers

Much better this year- My best hive I have just bottled 140lb honey! If she gets safely through to Spring I will be using that larvae for breeding! Not a queen cell all year and on deep and super for brood.. Wheehee...

Pah.................utter beekeeping porn.

Well done!
