I am currently treating for varroa using Apiguard. Placed the tin on top of the brood frames and put a 50mm eke (to give them room to climb into the tin) followed by a crownboard and rapid feeder within an empty super, and then the roof.
Just a bit concerned that the 50mm gap between the Apiguard can and the bottom of the feeder entrance might prevent the bees betting to the syrup.
Any advice please.

Great news thanks. Eke comes off when treatment is complete so the syrup/fondant supply will be close to the frame tops.
