I treated my 4 hives for varroa in January with Oxalic Acid in drip form. I have returned four times since then to check the varroa board. 3 of the hives reacted well to the treatment, however one of the hives still shows too many varroa dead on the board. I am a little confused as why this hive has not reacted like the others. Can anyone suggest why this may be happening? And also, having tried Oxalic Acid in January can I try another Varroa treatment now?

OA doesn’t reach bees in brood. If you want to treat again you will have to vape at five day intervals three times.
Personally I’d leave them alone till first inspection and if you are worried about varroa do a sugar roll to see how badly infested they are
PS. Could you please put your location in your profile. Thanks
