hi there,
we have got a very healthy looking colony in a national hive with lots of honey stores, but have been queen-less for more than 2 weeks.
We are urgently looking for brood frames to put into our hive or for a queen to introduce to our bees.

Please let us know asap if you know of anyone who can help.
Thank you so much!!!

Phone the sec of the Edinburgh Association.

However I suspect you are getting a little ahead of things here. There is a very good chance that you have a virgin in your colony waiting to mate and lay.

They can take up to a month in Aberdeenshire so 3 weeks in Edinburgh is not unreasonable.

A Test frame though would let you know what the position actually is.

As per previous post, people wrongly assume queenlessness.

Kimble Bee Supplies for quick turn around on a queen.

But please do not buy until you KNOW

Why? Because your new queen will be brown bread, if there is already one there!

How about a little, well actually some, recent history of this colony?

Regards, RAB
