I see Thornes sell an uncapping roller, which I thought were only good for heather honey, has anyone used them on normal comb uncapping? & what did they think of them:thanks:

I asked about these a while ago the answer I had was they get clogged up and are not much use

Use a hot air gun, quick, easy and no mess or cappings to worry about.

No detrimental effect on the honey either.

Google is your friend !

Yes fast and no mess but last year my bees got wise to this and capped approx half the frame wet and prety much all 12 supers.
I still love them though.
