I have National supers and I need some more frames made up. In the past I've always used SN4 (22mm) top bars but rummaging through my kit it looks like I've only got SN5 (28mm) ones left which I use in the 14x12 brood box.

Any problems with using SN5 in the super? I'll be using Manley side bars.

28mm top bars .would not think you get more problems than SN4 22mm topbars ( i assume they are 35mm hoffman sides), Manleys use them

Cushman, just says they make the supers heavy
