Good idea will have look. Should be seeing a steel fabricator at the weekend so may come up with some ideas/costing.....Thks

Depends if you want bells and whistles...try the abelo melliflow with heating or the pro...all singing dancing. Like a Swiss army knife it provides several functions.

I use a plastic bowl with a piece of wood on it to support the frame -- £1.50, the wood is free; but then I'm a rank amateur with only seven supers to extract.

I picked up a Giordan heated tank for 200 and it's great.leaves very little honey in the wax.previously I was having to press the wax as so much honey was left in it so it's worth getting a heated tank

and they even do one with a perforated base that you could put a finer mesh screen on, its all down to how big a set up you need?

I use a S S sink mounted on a box so that the cappings drain into a container. I could put a warmer, light bulb or heat bar, in as well. Got the sink from a skip. Almost perfect.
