Shocking. I would be beside myself too. Strange that it looks like the thieves left some floors behind.
 
No doubt these will be on the market soon big money to be made selling to the unsuspecting public.
 
Been a lot of travelers round that area last few week its only a few miles from me we have had them trying to get onto our gardens wanting to know who to see to get a key for gates then they can park up.A bit scary now been down there on my own
 
Im thinking of getting a few of these to hide in the hives, just in case.

I'm sure someone handy with a few wood work tools could make a small compartment in the hive wall, especially a poly hive.

I know someone who recently had bees stolen and the thief just took away the frames, with queen, and left the box as they found it, looking like it was untouched.
 
Wonder what the actual battery life would be, I know it says 1 year max??
