Last week we took off two supers of osr ...one week later we have just taken off the next two supers of osr.
The girls have made 51 pounds of honey in 2 weeks.
To us that is awesome.

Very nice, how close are you to the OSR?

im with in 1/4 mile of OSR. In two weeks two of my hives produced 68.5 lbs. i extracted 47lbs and two weeks later had to extract again due to a holiday. Thats a total of 112lbs this year so far. Well happy :)

We are 200 yards from OSR.
We are very happy with our haul and expect to get some more from our other new colony. For us though its not about the honey so much, in-fact, actually we haven't a clue what we will do with all the honey...

Last year the hive made 24 pounds between may 30th and june 30th (including pulling out the frames in a super). We have to move the hives in the next month but if we are lucky we could see another couple of supers before the late Autumn honey).

What do you old hands do with it all???
