Forgive my ignorance
i hear the phase (put in a test frame)
alot on the forum
am i right in thinking that it is a brood frame from another hive with grubs and capped brood and if the Q is not there this frame will incorgage the bees to make Emergency Q cells
thanks in advance:confused::confused::smilielol5::blush5:

The test frame needs very young larva and ideally eggs. Sealed brood is not required but makes no difference if it is present. If you actually want the bees to raise a new queen for the colony then eggs on the test frame would be essential.
