Hi,
I picked up a swarm last friday, popped them into a hive with a feed of syrup.
Had a little peek today bees are nice and calm, drawing out foundation but no sign of queen or eggs.Popped a frame of brood and eggs into hive.Any advice would be appreciated.

Swarm could have been a cast as with a virgin hence no eggs, wouldn't of added brood. If calm obviously a queen present. Just let them take there cause also if foundation queen might not have started laying

If its a cast swarm how long from hiving it would you give her majesty to start laying, 3 weeks?

No harm whatsoever in giving a frame of eggs etc. Time will tell.
