I have just been called out to a swarm that has entered the cavity to a house via a gap around the boiler overflow pipe.
I am scratching my head trying to work out if they can be extracted without damaging either the interior/exterior wall etc.

Any advice greatly appreciated as the only alternative is for Council pest control to destroy them ( call out was from pest officer)

Paul.

I think success has been had with a one way entrance so that when they fly out they can't get back in, then through a nuc box in which they gather! Never tried it but if you are inventive ....... Someone will point you to pics of a similar set up soon I am sure!
