I have just been out to look at a swarm that appears to have settled into a void in the stone wall of a house just up the road. It certainly looks like the queen has settled inside and there is just a few dozen bees flying around outside or coming and going. Short of knocking the house down is there any way to get them out ?

Neil traps out the flying bees and eventually the queen is left to die as she won't move.
If only just moved in a bee quick might force them out but it depends on getting it near them to evict them.

Do really make sure there is a nest there rather than just scouts before doing too much. Look for pollen on the legs if you haven't already done so. Why do you think the queen has settled in? Did someone see the swarm arrive?
