should they be wired or not then? got unwired foundation and tangential extractor. not very big fan of comb honey.

Definately wired !! The mess you have to clean up if a comb bursts has to be experienced to believe.You also have some very dirty honey to deal with.
 
I would not use anything other than wired foundation in super frames. Some claim that you can spin unwired frames with care in an extractor, but in my mind it is just asking for trouble.
 
It IS possible to extract unwired comb but it takes a tangential extractor and considerable patience.

So my vote is for wired.

I made once about 100 unwired super frames and after 2 years they were all totally broken. The low super frame (medium) is good because it is quicker to extract. So it does not help if you spoil the most important feature in super frame.
