I have been reading on the forum about todays super bees and new better bees, seems it needs a very large brood area that is not available using todays hives,I seem to remember 30 years ago the same discussion then about the best size of brood box for different strains of bee.Could i ask where this new super bee came from.Could it be the only thing to have changed are our winters which have become milder and so colonies build up quicker and larger or have i missed something to do with be breeding. regards rourkie
