ive made up some sugar water for my small colony (1kg white sugar to 1 litre of water) my feeder only holds 500ml so its taking time for them to use up.
My question is can the syrup go off as its on the side in my kitchen till its needed should i shake it ever now and then or will it be ok to use and refill my feeder say in two weeks or so time Cheers:cheers2::grouphug:

Yes it will go off. Like all food, better stored in the fridge or, better still, in the freezer.
Wow, that is either a very small colony ,or, they're not interested in your food supply (are getting enough of their own?).

Regards, RAB

Would have thought there was still plenty of the real nectar around.

I only feed if they really need it and thats only in the autumn.
