I am going to have a problem later his year. Bought a nuc ten days ago (great bees, very calm and busy). It swarmed on Sunday so now I have two small 'colonies'. One with a laying queen and hopefully drawing comb like mad, and one with an uncapped queen cell. Assuming I am going to have two small queened colonies, can anyone recommend any tips/strategies/tricks of the trade to build up my colonies so they will stand a chance of making it through the winter?

They should build up fine.
If not you can always join them back together in a couple of months for the winter.

You still have plenty of time for them to build up.

If for some strange reason they don't, you can always combine them for the winter.

I would just leave them to it.

Sorry Onge we posted at the same time.
Nice to see we both have the same hymn sheet though :cheers2:
