23rd August 2024 the BKA at Selby have suffered serious damage to their apiary in the town cemetery due to a large tree being blown down on top of it, crushing the framework and beehives. Currently SDC have closed access to the cemetery until the storm has passed and contractors have made the area safe.
 
My daughter has just been telling us about the problems they've been having at Leeds Festival. It sounds like it's been pretty rough up there.
