stores or fondant!!!!

if bee's are in a hive full of stores and i put fondant in now just so that its in if they need it,will they only eat the fondant when there stores have been emptied or eat away at the fondant even with stores in the hive???

Give them fondant and they will on the warmish days dilute it and store it in the cells. I don't know how correct people are when they think that bees 'eat' fondant.
