Sterilising honey jars and lids. How/what do you do?

i just put mine through the dishwasher, nice and hot, no residue, no smell.

I then put the jars in the oven at just over 100 degrees, this sterilizes and dries them fully. It also warms them, which is best for bottling. You can do the same with the lids but I normally wash them by hand rather than in the dishwasher as they tend to turn over in the dishwasher and fill with water.
