just wondering if anyone has ever tried putting an out apiary into a potato crop? i know they are sprayed regularly, so I am dubious, and much as I would like to think the farmer would call me if sprayers were going in... have I just answered my own question?!!!

Hi
They spray regulary for blight especialy in the next 6 weeks with a fugicide also the flowers dont last long either and I cant remember bees polinating either the days I used to work on a farm.

Potato flower honey sounds fun bit of salt and vinegar

Bumblebees will pollinate tomatoes (same family) but honeybees don't seem to even when they have access to them (outdoor varieties).
