Spring forage options

The catkins are available, the blackthorn is in flower, pear blossom is on the way and apple not far behind. Poor bees, decisions decisions!

We are a bit ahead of you down here ... I'm not sure that they are all making the same decisions .... there's quite a variety of pollen coming in ... and clearly some nectar and lots of water. A bit breezy down here today but still quite a bit of activity. Wind dropped later this afteroon and I've just been round to the apiary and in the sunshine this evening they are very busy ....
