Hello my first post
Im new to bee keeping
We have had bees in the past for pollenation of our fruit trees
But know we are keeping them our self, which is what ive wanted to do for years
Every thing seems to be going ok, bees all look good we have 10 hives
honey is selling well
But we have over 50 acres of apple and pear trees on different sites
So was woundering if we can, or when we can make these into more hives
and which hives it is best to use
Any help would be apriciated
We thought we would have a few swarms buy now but nothing
Although we are trying not to let this happen
Thank you

welcome, but you have posted this in the cooking section...suggest you repost on the general forum and include your location, current type of hives and what they where like in brood etc, number of supers on each hive when last inspected...you might get a proper responce instead of waiting until someone looks at cooking

ie if i tell you to use polystyrene langstroth hives and you are on wooden commercials ,then you are up a gum tree
