South UK-When too late to split a Colony ?

Hi,
Ive successfully made my first split from a colony using 1 frame brood, 1 food ,plus a new queen.

Would like to do another but based on my location in the South UK ,is there a cut off Month when there is a high risk the new colony wont grow enough before Winter?

Make the split larger, no issue doing splits for several months yet!

agree...flow is on here in Sussex and hopefully a good season still ahead for splits etc

Try to wean yourself off the human calendar.
Not easy but beneficial.
