Soothing sounds of the apiary

I went to spend a bit of time at one of the apiaries which is on a Wildlife Trust site managed by a good friend of mine. I love to spend time there watching nature go by and today with the warm sunshine it was great to sit amongst the hives with the soothing buzzing of 1000's of bees bringing in vast amounts of pollen and dandelion nectar. This is one of the hive I had to dble brood, it has 10 frames of brood and 2 super already.

Thanks Dani. I actually leave the reducers most of the year, saves me faffing around in the autumn trying to find the right one!!
