Sonic mole repellers

Hi folks, Still got a problem with moles in my allotment, tried traps, both scissors and tunnel, failed miserably. The soil kept collapsing around the traps. Even had a professional in to try his luck, but he failed as well. He said the soil is too "soft" and deep! He suggested sonic repellers. Anyone tried them, if so what were your results?

Absolutely no scientific basis but children's windmills stuck in the ground, with half of one blade cut off to produce a vibration worked for me.

Worms soaked in strychnine and put into the mole runs used to work quite well.

What it needs is something about the size of a detonator that senses when Mr Mole has arrived at his FINAL destination . . . boom! Let science do the waiting.

Around here moles and gophers get blowed up real good with something called a rodenator. It uses oxygen and propane - boom. One nice feature is that it collapses the tunnels so any new incursions are noticable. Search youtube to see a demo.

Another cheapo method (for a small mole problem) is running a hose from the exhaust of an engine down into the tunnels. Seal it up, run the engine, and drink a beer. When the beer is done so are the rodents.
