Somebody who could mentor?

Hi there,

As you can see i am a bit new to this!

I have been doing lots of reading and research into beekeeping, and want to start my own hive/hives.

My uncle inspired me but as he lives in france, its not easy.

I am 20 years old and live in bristol. Hoping to get a hive up and running asap!

If somebody in bristol wouldnt mind educating me (maybe with their own hive) and help start my own i would really appreciate it!

I am a keen keeper of japanese koi and can maybe exchange some knowledge in return!

I suggest you join Keynsham Beekeepers association - they meet at Horse World once a month (south west of Bristol)

Hi Osama. Bristol beekeepers (link above) have an open day at their apiary up near Cribbs Causeway on 1st May. Contact details should be on the website or drop me a line and I'll get the information to you. I'm only on my second full season but I'd be happy tohelp if I can.

Bristol Is one of the Branches of Avon beekeepers so they're basically the same thing.
