Somebody else's honey

My bee buddy found this in a local shop, priced at £6.50. Opaque and solid. The label described it as "wild honey". I'd be ashamed to put my label on something looking like that.

Maybe it was ok when it was supplied to the shop? Some retailers don’t keep an eye on their stock.

Just seen some in my local farmers market called raw Spanish honey. £15 a jar and it looked like dirty washing up water. Yuc!

We bought some Polish honey at Lidl last week at £3.99 per 900g; Mazurskie Miody Polish Honey 900g Offer at Lidl

It is slightly cloudy but with no bubbles. In my opinion it's better honey than most commercial honeys I have tasted. How they can sell it so cheaply is beyond me. If it is adulterated in some way, as long as none of the adulterants is toxic, I'm perfectly happy with it.
