The guys at the datacentre were very good at getting us back online,they worked like stink to sort the problem,they even answered the telephone as soon as I rang them.
They sent me an email update:
we are facing some issues with the network ranges at the moment. Our network team is working on it..
Your patience & cooperation is appreciated
Our NOC team is working hard to get this resolved ASAP. We'll update you once its sorted.
1H 58Min downtime,not bad service getting us running again at this time of night,thats why we use London uk datacentres!!
Network Operations Centre: every good data centre has one. 1hr 58 is pretty good for a non resilient service such as a forum. If this was mine (can't say what it is), I'd be having to explain myself after about 10 seconds....Find out if they were working on the mission impossible films, and then decided to call their team "NOC"
